Share what you geek

- Share your stories and your support
- Create a video about what you geek and post it on YouTube
Share what your library does for you and your community
- Call a local radio or TV station and share a story about how your library made a difference in your life or the life of someone you know
- Write an op-ed or letter to the editor and send to a local print or online publication
- Blog about what you geek and how the library supports you
- Use social media, such as Facebook and Twitter, to spread the word
- Add a custom e-mail signature with what you geek

- Learn more about how your library is funded and what your library needs from the community
- Sign up for e-mail updates (top right-hand corner) and follow Geek the Library on Facebook and Twitter
- Call, write, or e-mail your library to let its staff know you appreciate their contributions to your community
- Join a local library support group such as Friends of the Library
- Organize your own library support group
- Organize a fund-raiser for your local library
- Volunteer at your local library or make a donation
