I have wanted a house rabbit for many years. After our dog was gone we had a small pet that didn't live very long. I think a pet is good for kids so I started to consider a rabbit after my husband sent me a link of adoptable pets. A dog is tough because you have to plan your life around it. A rabbit can be left for a day without having to 'let it out' and they make great pets.
We now have a wonderful English Spot Mix rabbit named Pete and he is awesome! He is so cute, fun to watch, smart (he knows where his treats are kept and can open the door to the cabinet) and he is even litter trained! We adopted him from a local rescue and have found a new friend and family member!
