I was born into my love of musical theatre; in fact, I was named for West Side Story's Maria! I went to a school for the arts during my junior and senior years of high school, majoring in acting. Although I switched from theatre to english in college, I still harbor a huge love for musicals, both filmed and on stage. I see them as often as I can, and have even made my husband a fan! We plan on seeing/geeking out during Wicked when it comes to town next year.
