After moving halfway across the country, I was feeling isolated and depressed, having no friends and no job waiting for me in New York City. And then I discovered that a branch of the Queens Library was literally down the street from my new apartment. Suddenly, I had a lifeline to the rest of the world again, and rekindled my love of YA lit. Through the constant access to fresh books, I was able to start up a blog to log my thoughts and network with other book geeks in my area and around the world.
