I didn't even realize this until one of my staff pegged me. She pointed out that I recommend books like Dr. Amen's Making a Good Brain Great, donated a Scrabble board to encourage young people to think more about words and numbers, and talk to others about engaging their brains in new activities. Neurology and keeping brains healthy has truly become my thing, even though I'm a librarian, not a doctor!
