When my one of my friends made me watch an episode of Inuyasha, I thought I wouldn't like it, but it's five years later and I am still hooked on anime. I don't watch Inuyasha anymore, but anime like Code Geass, Skip Beat and others. Every time I go to the library, I go to the section with manga and see if they have any new adventures to read.
