I am a student of international relations so, I find myself having to search through lots of microfiche, government documents and peer review journals to find the information I need for my research projects. If the library wasn't there, I wouldn't be able to do the research necessary nor would I feel so accomplished as to having actually gotten my hands 'dirty' by having to physically look for the information.
